Hiring - General FAQs
1. How long should it take to receive a reply to my inquiry?
I usually respond to messages within 24 hours. Occasionally it may take a little longer. However, if I have not replied to your inquiry within five days then you may have entered your email address incorrectly into the contact form so I cannot reply to your message.
2. Where are you based and what areas do you work?
I'm based in London but frequently take on freelance work in EU countries and the U.S. Though my willingness to travel will be dependent on the nature of the job.
3. What kinds of photography projects do you take on?
As a freelance my work's rather diverse and I'm usually happy to take on most clients and most projects. Here's a list of the typical work I usually undertake:
(a) Commercial photography: photoshoots and creating custom artwork for clients to be used for ad/marketing campaigns and other promotional purposes.
(b) Custom artwork: digital manipulation of some of my existing images (or taking fresh ones according to a client's specific brief).
(c) Portraiture: standard headshots for professional or personal use as well as more experimental work.
(d) Event photography: covering corporate events, launch/promo events as well as private parties and weddings.
4. What kinds of video projects do you take on?
As a freelance my work's rather diverse and I'm usually happy to take on most clients and most projects. Here's a list of the typical work I usually undertake:
(a) Stopmotion: this is usually for commercial projects, including music videos.
(b) Timelapse: this is usually for commercial projects, including music videos and to be used as footage for someone else's project.
(c) 360 filming: using a custom rig made from an array of remote controlled 4k cameras I can film a full 360 FoV (field of view) and stitch the separate video streams into a single video suitable for viewing on a VR headset. I've done 360 filming for parties, launch/promo events and property showcasing (i.e. creating interactive videos of property, either for sale or simply as an interactive tour). I've also done 360 filming for more commercial projects. E.g. I used a 360 rig to create the intro credits for the BBC's coverage of the UEFA EURO Cup 2016. See my Commercial Work page for more details.
(d) 4k and 1080p filming: parties, events, and for commercial projects, e.g. adverts, music and promo videos. See my Commercial Work page for more details.
